okay i feel really bad because i just re-read the relevant buzzfeed article and it says that they have pixelated their faces (as an update to the initially published unblurred version) for ‘SAFETY CONCERNS’. i texted a friend who works for buzzfeed india and she says that both of them haven’t come out to their parents and are really scared about their families recognising them. so they contacted buzzfeed and asked to have their faces blurred.

One of the dudes in this photo is my friend and I can confirm this. Please spread the word. Don’t out someone just go prop up your support of an issue. There are drastic consequences in the lives of individual LGBTI who are exposed without their consent.
